One of the new Vendors at CHA this year was Authentique. Releasing six new lines at the show, this brand new paper company has beautiful paper with coordinating embellishments for each line. They have also teamed up with Unity Stamps to create some coordinating Itty Bitty stamps for each line. This Journey Collection, with it’s rich blues and easy to use patterns would be great for a variety of themes.
They also feature coordinating Foundations for each collection. This 12″x24″ bifold ensemble offers double sided solids that can be used as bases for your layouts, or cut apart and used in conjunction with your project.
And now for some projects to inspire you:
Have you heard of Authentique? What pattern papers do you wish someone would make?

Love this company and their papers! Just recently purchased my first stack from them at Archiver’s last weekend. As for your question on what kind of papers I would like to see made: I’m not really sure as just about everything these vendors come out with just blow me away. I suppose the one thing I would like to see more of—some vendors get it right—but I’d like to see more vendors make their paper stacks (6×6, 8×8, 12×12) with a perforated line at the top of the stack instead of the glue they use to keep the pack together. I get so annoyed when removing a sheet of paper from a stack and the glue at the top (holding the stack together) wrecks the paper. This happened recently with a popular vendor’s paper stack and I was so ticked off when the glue ripped at least an inch off the top of nearly every paper in the stack. You can be as careful as you can but if the quality isn’t there, it doesn’t matter how careful you are. But, like I said, some vendors get it right but most don’t. They shouldn’t use cheap adhesive to hold a stack together because goodness knows their products aren’t cheap…lol
Never heard of them before but after seeing this post and having a closer look at their Glowing and Wonder lines I think I would give it a try it I found it locally. We only have HL and a LSS in my small town so sometimes it is hard to get my hands on the things I want especially when they are a new product. And I don’t like to pay shipping costs for items that do not have a long history of being worthy so I hope my LSS found this paper at CHA and brought some back. LOL! Have a great day!
Just picked up some of their Halloween papers at the LSS and I ADORE them!! Got some Christmas papers too which are beautiful!
Even though I live in a suburb of Philly, where you think there would be lots of lss, the two local ones have closed, and I doubt that Michaels or AC Moore will carry these cute lines! At least not for a couple of years.
Across the board, I can’t really think of any patterns or papers that aren’t out there, except fora collection for a visit to Universal Studio/Harry Potter. Not much out there for that. What I want to see more of is embellies…..flowers and buttons and lacy doilies don’t cut it for everything. More fruits, hot air balloons, trees, animals, farm visit collections…..
Great papers. I’ll have to see if my lss will get some of this in.
Thanks for the great reviews.
Beautiful papers!!!!! Thanks for your wonderful reviews. Canit ait to see these beautiful papers etc. in the stores.
