Beadalon Spiral Maker- New at CHA Summer!

We swung by the Beadalon booth today to ask about the new big things in jewelry making- and our new friend Wyatt White whipped out this little faboo gizmo, the Spiral Maker!
It’s designed to help everyone make perfect wire spirals, which seem to be so “au currant” right now in jewelry design. Here’s their catalog picture:

It works with gauges of wire 20g and smaller, and you can use it with craft or soft metals. I love how you can make exactly the same size spirals- that can be tricky to do. But I have to be honest…it looked complicated. But Wyatt was a sport and agreed to give us our own EXCLUSIVE CHA demo for CraftCritique. Here it is, just for you!

  1. How cool – it’s amazing what they come up with!

  2. Ok – I need a spiral maker. I do my own by hand and this looks so much easier. Can’t wait for it to be out so I can buy it.

  3. I like it.

  4. I like the concept of this, and the price isn’t horrible, but I am with you looks a little complicated. Especially when he just casually said you have to use the same gage wire for washers. That means set up and around those little screws. umm, I don’t think so.

  5. Nifty!

  6. Spiral maker….wow! That’s neat! I see cute little snails for my cards with this! And I don’t even like snails…but I like the swirler!

  7. OMG – how cool is that! I may have to get one of these!
